18th Annual Alligator Trot

5K Road Race & Walk
The only 5k running in two states in conjunction

with the 143rd Masonic Celebration

Florala State Park - Florala, AL
Race Packet Pick-up begins at 6:30 AM

The course is asphalt, rolling terrain and is again USATF-certified!!

Certification# AL 12040 JD

The run begins in Alabama, at the intersection of 3rd Avenue and 3rd Street. Runners proceed around beautiful Lake Jackson into Florida and back into Alabama finishing at 23089 Lake Shore Blvd.

Running Awards: First Over-All Male & Female
Male & Female Masters (40+)
Male & Female Grandmasters (50+)
Male & Female Senior Grandmasters (60+)

Male & Female Great Grandmaster (70+)
No duplication of awards.

Three deep for the following age groups:
Male & Female: 0-14, 15-19, 20-24,
25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 and up.

Walkers: First Over-all Male & Female -
No Duplication of awards. Three deep for the following age groups:
Male & Female: 0-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 , 60-69 and 70 and up.

NO RUNNING ALLOWED in the WALKING CATEGORY.

If you plan to do any running, register as a runner please.

We will start the WALKERS 1 minute after the runnners have begun the race!

it's the first weekend in February

our first race in 2012 yeilded 252 Runners & walkers and we

raised just over $5,000!

The entire event raised just under $30,000for local cancer patients

~ our 2013 race begins at 9am ~

Since this is a benefit for local cancer patients

we only award first place in each category

2012 Alligator Trot 5k

I am very thankful to all of you who participated and chose us
with so many other races going on at the same time!!

Runners came from Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Utah, North Carolina, Colorado, & Texas!! We had a spectacular turnout from the Dothan, Pensacola & Northwest Florida Runners Clubs as well!!!!!I must not forget all of our local runners & walkers who support us every year!! We had participants from 4 to 78 years old! Also Congratulaions to several of you who ran their first 5k! Thank you for choosing us!

 The Northwest Florida Track club provided their finish line clock!!! Great Job fellas!

We had a great day, once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart!!
